Irwin Fred Rosa, age 78, of Friendship, Wisconsin passed away February 18, 2008 at the Tomah VA Medical Center in Tomah, Wisconsin.

Private family services were held. Interment will be at a later date at the Edgerton Fassett Cemetery.

Irwin was born August 5, 1929 in Chicago, Illinois to Fred Rosa and Ella Sladek. After High School Irwin joined the United States Army and from there he went into Law Enforcement and was a Police Officer for the Edgerton Police Department as well as a Patrol Officer for the Milton Police Department. Irwin retired to Adams in 1989 where he started his pheasant farm as a hobby. He met Darlene after moving to Adams and they later got married on October 17, 1995 in Adams, Wisconsin. Irwin enjoyed spending time with his dogs Max and Cricket.

Irwin was preceded in death by his parents, and his first wife.

Daughter: Geraldine (Art) Ball of Clayton, Missouri

Stepson: Elmer Dye Jr. of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin

Stepson: Michael (Julie) Dye of Friendship, Wisconsin

Stepson: Randy (Yvonne) Dye of Nekoosa, Wisconsin

Stepson: Robert (Lisa) Dye of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin

Stepdaughter: Beverly (Craig) Haefener of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin

Stepdaughter: Donna (Martin) Breceda of Carpentersville, Illinois

Stepdaughter: Sandy (Dave) Leonhard of Port Edwards, Wisconsin

further survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
