Helen Minnie Krantz,
age 101, of Adams, Wisconsin died Saturday, December 6, 2008
at the Liberty Manor in Adams, Wisconsin.
Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. on Thursday,
December 11, 2008 at the Roseberry's Funeral Home in
Friendship, Wisconsin. Rev. Richard Corning will officiate.
Friends may call Thursday morning at Roseberry�s from 10:30
a.m. until the time of service.
Interment will be at a later date at the Mt. Repose
Cemetery, Friendship, Wisconsin.
Helen was born October 20, 1907 in Sheldon, Wisconsin to
Ernest and Margaret (Swetlik) Haffner. As a child, she was
adopted by Benedict and Veronica Krasowski. She married
Arthur Krantz on May 29, 1936 in Chicago, IL. The couple
built a home in Adams County, but Arthur passed away before
they could share the house together. She lived in that house
until the mid-1980�s. Helen worked most of her life in a
factory doing coil winding. During WWII, she followed her
husband to California and got a job as a painters helper on
the submarines.
Helen was member Trinity Congregational Church in Adams,
Moundview Memorial Hospital and Clinics Partners, and the
Adams County Senior Citizens.

Church.
Helen was preceded in death by parents, foster parents,
Husband � Arthur; sisters, Margaret Duray and Mary Novey;
brothers, Ernest Diamond and Harry Haffner;
and Niece Judy Haffner.
