Violet
Anna Cavanaugh, age 97, of Fairwater, Wisconsin died
December 18, 2008 at the Parkview Manor Health &
Rehabilitation Center in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, December
21, 2008 at the Roseberry's Funeral Home in Friendship,
Wisconsin. Rev. Richard Eberly will officiate. Interment
will be at the White Creek Cemetery, Twp of Easton,
Wisconsin. Visitation will be 12:30 p.m. until time of
service on Sunday at Roseberry's Funeral Home.
Violet was born December 27, 1910 in Wisconsin Dells,
Wisconsin to William Fredrick and Anna M. (Paulson) Tabbert.
She was graduate of Kilborne High School. She married John
Amos Cavanaugh on November 28, 1928 in Adams, Wisconsin.
Violet enjoyed watching television and listening to the
radio. She also enjoyed being outside and working and
gardening.
Violet was a former member of the White Creek
Congregational Church and the Royal Neighbors.
Violet was preceded in death by parents; husband; son,
Clifford Cavanaugh; daughter-in-law, Joyce Cavanaugh; 5
brothers (Elmer, Arthur, Harry, Russell, and Roy); and 1
sister (Lillian).
