Christopher J. �Wojo�  Becerra, age 42, of Necedah, Wisconsin passed on December 3, 2008 after a courageous battle with cancer at his home surrounded by family in Necedah, Wisconsin.

 

Mass of Christian burial will be 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 6, 2008 at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Necedah, Wisconsin.   Father Hector Moreno will officiate.  Interment will be at the St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery, Necedah, Wisconsin. 

 

Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Friday and again from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at the Church on Saturday. 

 

Christopher was born July 14, 1966 in Chicago, Illinois to John R. and Rosemary A. (Judycki) Becerra. He attended the Necedah Area Schools.

 

Christopher married Norma A. Amell on April 19, 1986 in Necedah, Wisconsin. Christopher and Norma enlisted together with the United States Army in 1987.  After leaving the service they came back to Necedah and raised their family of three children.

 

He played in a band with his father and brothers, he played drums and guitar.  Christopher enjoyed fishing, boating, bowling and was a talented comedian who loved to make many others laugh.

 

He helped at Becerra�s Pizza and enjoyed working with his uncle Bill and his Brothers.

Christopher was very close with his brothers and his uncle Mark who is only two years older and more like a brother.

 

He was exceptionally proud of his Daughter Kaitlin�s attendance at The Illinois Institute of Art � Chicago. His son Brandon follows in his fathers footsteps by being an excellent musician like his father.  His daughter Jenny is also an artist and hopes one day to attend The Illinois Institute of Art-Chicago (I yuy u). 

 

Christopher will be greatly missed by everyone he touched throughout his life.

 

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family.

 

He was preceded in death by; his Grandfather: Edward Judycki, Aunt: Linda Collins and Godfather: Vic Becerra.

    Daughter:  Kaitlin Becerra of Chicago, Illinois

    Son:  Brandon Becerra of Necedah, Wisconsin

    Daughter:  Jennifer Becerra of Necedah, Wisconsin

    Mother:  Rosemary Becerra of Necedah, Wisconsin

    Father:  John Becerra of Necedah, Wisconsin

    Brother:  John E. (Lisa) Becerra of Necedah, Wisconsin

    Brother:  Nicholas (Judy Lada) Becerra of Necedah, Wisconsin

    Brother:  Neil (Christy) Becerra of Necedah, Wisconsin

    Brother:  Ryan (Heather) Becerra of Necedah, Wisconsin

    Brother:  Kevin Becerra of Palatine, Illinois

    Grandmother:  Elizabeth Judycki of Necedah, Wisconsin

   

 Further survived by:  Many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins & friends
