William E. Tomschin, age 82, of Adams, Wisconsin died Wednesday, April 9, 2008 at the Moundview Memorial Hospital & Clinics in Friendship, Wisconsin.

Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. on Monday, April 14, 2008 at the Niebull Cemetery, Town of Big Flats, Adams County, Wisconsin. Pastor Karyn Bodenschatz will officiate. Military rites will be offered at the graveside service by the Adams VFW Post #6279; the Adams American Legion Red Cloud Post #250; and the Grand Marsh American Legion Snyder-Richardson Post #273.

Bill was born November 2, 1925 in Chicago, Illinois to William H. and Caroline (Passow) Tomschin. He was a veteran of WWII, serving in the Navy in the Pacific Theater of War. Bill married Lois Edith Rogers on

March 26, 1946 in Seattle, WA. The couple settled in Hancock, WI where they raised their family. Bill worked as window washer at the Merchandise Mart in Chicago, IL before becoming an over the road truck driver.

Bill enjoyed going to the casino, buying scratch off tickets, and spending time with his family.

Bill was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Lois E. Tomschin (June 14, 2004); an infant baby daughter; and granddaughter, Heather Tomschin.

Daughter: Cathy (Scott) Williams of Cortez, CO

Daughter: Charlene (Tom) Baggs of Arkdale, Wisconsin

Daughter: Cindy (Del) Babcock of Friendship, Wisconsin

Daughter: Candy (Mike) Henriksen of Necedah, Wisconsin

Grandchildren: 22
