Joyce
Elaine Kester, age 72, of Nekoosa, Wisconsin passed away
peacefully on Saturday, April 5, 2008 at her son�s home.
Private family services are planned. Interment will be at
the Green Hill Cemetery, Town of Saratoga, Wood County,
Wisconsin.
Joyce was born July 9, 1935 in Marshfield, Wisconsin to
Edward M. and Rose M. (Huth) Schmidt. She grew up and
attended school in Marshfield. Joyce was married to Jim
Kester - this marriage was blessed with two children before
ending in divorce. Joyce worked for Nekoosa Edwards Paper
Company for over 30 years, retiring in 1995.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and
Rose Schmidt; daughter, Peggy Sue Anderson; brothers: James
and Darrell Schmidt; and sisters: Connie Giacomino and
Virginia Bach.
Joyce is survived by her loving son, James (Barb) Kester
of Nekoosa, Wisconsin; grandchildren: Nick & Kim Kester of
Nekoosa, Wisconsin and Michael & Jake Anderson of Nekoosa,
Wisconsin; sister, Rae Jean Schmidt of Marshfield,
Wisconsin; and special neighbors who were always there when
she needed a helping hand.
