Joan
Frances Gleason, age 62, of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin died
Friday, April 11, 2008 at her home.
Memorial services will be 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, April
19, 2008 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in
Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin. Mr. James Biltz will officiate.
Visitation will be Saturday from 1:30 p.m. until the time of
services at the Kingdom Hall.
Joan was born May 17, 1945 in Allentown, Pennsylvania to
John F. and Violet F. (Stocker) Harpel. She grew up in
Pennsylvania. Joan married James Gleason on March 25, 1972
in West Bend, WI. The couple made their home in West Bend
before moving to Adams in 1975. Joan and James moved
to Wisconsin Rapids in 2004. Joan worked for Solarus until
the time of her illness.
Joan has been active in the ministry since 1963.
Joan enjoyed nature, spending time outdoors, collecting
giraffes, walking, and enjoying her friends and family.
Joan was preceded in death by parents.
Memorials in Joan�s memory may be given to the World Wide
Work of Jehovah�s Witnesses.
