 Raymond
E. Carlson, age 79, of Adams, Wisconsin unexpectedly passed
away following a brief illness on April 27, 2008 at home
with his wife by his side.
Raymond was born February 16, 1929 in Negaunee, Michigan
to Edward and Martha Carlson. He attended school in the
Negaunee area after which he began working for Prepakt
Concrete, a construction company. During Ray�s 40 years of
employment in the construction field he was able to travel
extensively while working on a job he loved.
He married Ruth Elizabeth Olson on June 26, 1953 in
Seattle, Washington. Ruth and Ray initially lived in a
number of different cities but they made Adams their
permanent home in 1960. Ray also kept a second home in
Michigan and enjoyed his summer treks to the "UP" for
hunting, fishing and catching up with relatives and old
friends.
Ray also enjoyed working on cars and spending time with
his family. In his later years his grandchildren provided
the greatest joy to him.
Private family services are planned for 10:00 am
Thursday, May 1st.
He
was preceded in death by
his parents; son,
Craig; daughter, Karen; sister, Patty;and Step Brother,
Vernon.

Sarah, Kasey, Katie, Keegan, Cole, Lance (Cindy), Cory, Amy,
and Cody
