Howard
Lee Bork, age 81, of Adams, Wisconsin died peacefully on
Sunday, April 6, 2008 at the St. Joseph's Hospital in
Marshfield, Wisconsin.
A memorial gathering will be from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday,
April 9, 2008 at Roseberry's Funeral Home Friendship, WI.
Howard was born April 20, 1926 in the Township of
Springville, Wisconsin to Lee and Ethel (Fuller) Bork.
Following his high-school graduation he served in the United
States Navy during WWII. He married Phyllis Heitman on July
28, 1951 in Grand Marsh, Wisconsin. This marriage was
blessed with five children. Howard worked for the C & NW
Railroad for 39 years retiring in 1989.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, NASCAR, The Green Bay
Packers, AF Green Devils athletics and most of all spending
time with his family.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the
family which will be donated to organizations that were
beneficial to Howard during his illnesses.
He was preceded
in death by his parents; and infant daughter, Debra Lee
Bork; sister, Rita Robertson; and nephew, Roger Oakes.
