James Mac Ray, age 65, of Arkdale, Wisconsin died Wednesday, July 5, 2006 at his home.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 8, 2006 at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Friendship, Wisconsin. Father James P. McNamee will officiate. Cremation will follow the service, with final interment at the Monroe Center Cemetery.

Visitation will be at Roseberry's Funeral Home on Saturday morning from 10 a.m. until the time of service, at which time we will move to St. Joseph’s.

James was born September 12, 1940 in Nashville, Arkansas to Dewel David and Sina Inez (McClellan) Ray. He married Patricia Sheehan on February 13, 1958 in Cornith, MS. The couple made their home in Wildwood, Illinois. James retired from Ameritech after 30 years of service and moved to Monroe Center in 1995.

James was a charter boat captain for 30 years on Lake Michigan; he was an avid hunter, also enjoyed golfing and woodworking in his shop.

James was preceded in death by his parents, and one niece, Retta.
