 Dorothy
Ann Stratton, age 87, of Friendship, Wisconsin died Monday,
April 3, 2006 at the Villa Pines Living Center in
Friendship, Wisconsin.Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m.
on Thursday, April 6, 2006 at the Roseberry's Funeral Home
in Friendship, Wisconsin. The Pastor Steve Miller will
officiate. Interment will be at the Hancock Cemetery,
Hancock, Wisconsin.
Visitation will be at Roseberry's Funeral Home on
Thursday from 10 until the time of service.
Dorothy was born June 5, 1918 in Dickinson, North Dakota
to Robert C. and Grace (Gilden) McLaughlin. She married
Clarence W. Stratton on February 29, 1940 in Dubuque, Iowa.
The couple made their home in Hancock, Wisconsin where they
farmed for 40 years on their family farm. Following
Clarence’s death, Dorothy moved to Adams in 1989.
Dorothy enjoyed walking, attending stage plays, bingo,
dancing, garage sales, going out to eat, attending church,
swimming, boating, fishing, and going on trips with her
family.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; husband
(Clarence); brother (Donald McLaughlin); and two infant
brothers.
