Gerard "Jake" Masterson, age
63, of Friendship, Wisconsin died Monday, August 8, 2005 at
the Moundview Memorial Hospital & Clinics in Friendship,
Wisconsin. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on
Thursday, August 11, 2005 at the Roseberry's Funeral Home in
Friendship, Wisconsin. The Pastor Sam Downey will officiate.
Visitation will be Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. Roseberry's.
Funeral services will held at 12 Noon on Friday, August
12, 2005 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home -
Mulford Chapel,
Rockford, IL.
Interment will be at the Flora Cemetery, Fairdale, Illinois.
Visitation will be at Fitzgerald’s Funeral Home from 11 a.m.
to the time of service.
Jake was born April 15, 1942 in Rockford, Illinois to
James and Janet (Johns) Masterson. He graduated from
Stillman Valley High School in 1960. Jake was employed by
Sundstrand Aerospace of Rockford, IL for 27 years, and more
recently, he retired from Ho-Chunk Casino after 8 years.
Jake enjoyed sport fishing, ice fishing, antiquing,
riding his Harley, sitting by campfires, cooking,
barbecuing, and spending time with his family and friends.
Jake was preceded in death by his father.
