Charles E. Turner, age 78, of
Friendship (previously of Racine County), died Friday, May
28, 2004 at his home.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday,
June 2nd at Church and Chapel, 15250 W. National
Ave. New Berlin. Visitation will begin ½ hour prior to
services. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park, New
Berlin, WI.
Charles was born June 24, 1925 to Percy and Ida (Stouski)
Turner in Stoughton, WI. He served with the U.S. Coast Guard
during WWII and was involved in the invasion of N. Africa
and D-Day landings of Europe. Charles married Joyce Frahm on
July 23, 1949 in Wauwatosa, WI. He retired from Lakeside
Manufacturing in Milwaukee where he worked as a tool & die
craftsman. Charles moved to Adams County in 1997.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents, sister
(Lucille Gross); brothers (Keane, Russell, Lawrence, and
Glenn).
