Funeral services will be 12 Noon, Friday, June 4, 2004 at the Roseberry's Funeral Home & Crematory in Friendship, Wisconsin. The Rev. Bob Kenas will officiate. Cremation will follow the traditional service, with the final interment at the Colburn-Leola Cemetery, Adams County, Wisconsin. Visitation will be at Roseberry’s on Friday, June 4^th 2004 from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 12 Noon.

Ansel was born June 11, 1931 to Henry and Ethel (Bush) Dean. He attended school in Beloit, finishing with vocational school. Ansel worked Werner Electric Break & Clutch Co. of South Beloit, IL before moving to Adams County in 1968. He married Suzann Martin on March 15, 1969 in Dubuque, Iowa. He moved to Mauston in 1979. Ansel retired from Bar-Bel Fabrication of Mauston after 18 years of service. Ansel enjoyed hunting and fishing, attending antique steam and gas shows, rebuilding antique hit and miss engines and traveling.

Ansel was a member of the United Methodist Church of Mauston.

Ansel was preceded in death by his parents; step-father (George Klopfenstein); two brothers (Duane and Paul); and two sisters (June and Alice). He was also preceded by several aunts, cousins, one niece and two nephews.
