Dorothy Wilson,
age 84 of Coloma, WI died Friday, April 23, 2004 at
Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids.Funeral Service
will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 27th,
at Roseberry’s Funeral Home & Crematory in Friendship.
Pastor Pam Knolinski will officiate. Burial will follow at
Pleasant Hill Cemetery, in the Town of Coloma. Visitation
will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, April
26th, at Roseberry’s.
Dorothy was born on May 22, 1919 to Louis and Anne
Wollert in Waushara County. She married Harold Vernon Wilson
on January 1, 1937 in the Town of Colburn. Dorothy and
Vernon raised their family on a small farm in Adams County.
Together they ran a pick your own Strawberry Farm. She was
an avid gardener and loved sharing her flowers and produce.
Dorothy was a member of the South Burr Oak Methodist Church
in Coloma and was very active in the Woman’s fellowship
organization. She was camp youth leader for Modern Woodman,
and a member of Royal Neighbors. She was also a member of
many neighborhood quilting circles. Her home was always open
to neighbors and friends.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband; parents; 5
brother; and 9 sisters.

Grandchildren: Wendy (Jere) Haas, Darren (Linda) Wilson,
Troy (Kate) Wilson, Heidi (Dan) Elsen, Dustin (Marnea)
Wilson, and Merideth (Mark) Hoffman.
