William Conroy

web-2Bill Conroy, 84, of Kalamazoo, Michigan, Rome, Wisconsin & Sebring, Florida, passed away November 2, 2014.

Bill, loving husband of Maxine Bondhouse Conroy, was born December 15, 1929 in Grand Rapids, MI.  Bill and Maxine were married on August 28, 1954 enjoying 60 years of loving marriage.

Bill attended The University of Michigan and was a chemical engineer for many years leaving that career behind, he and Maxine opened two successful RV dealerships in the Chicago area.  Bill was a Korean War Veteran and an Elk. Bill retired at age 57, moving to Bonita Springs, FL and enjoying 27 years of travel, camping, golf, fishing and enjoying family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him for his personality, words of wisdom and sense of humor.

He is survived by his wife: Maxine, 2 sons: David (Jan) of Monte Sereno, CA, William Joseph (Debra) of Fort Myers, FL, 3 daughters: Kerry (Ron) of Forest Lake, MN, Stephanie (Dave) of Neenah, WI, Christine (Chuck) of Springfield, IL, 7 grandsons,  7 granddaughters, 4 great- grandsons, 4 great granddaughters.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Irene & Harry Conroy and three brothers: Harry, John, Robert. There will not be any formal services of memorial.
