  21. Kay Olson-Martz says:

My deepest sympathy to Willie’s family. My memories go back long before he opened Willie’s Still, but after he opened it he helped me with the memories I have today. One is that he “Stole” (as he would say) me away from the Ski Hill when I became his waitress. He gave me a raise from $1.25 that I was making there to $1.69. I became the highest paid waitress in the county way back then. Memories of his children growing up, and that of other’s in the community that came in there to eat. I could go on but I am sure we all have fond memories of Willie. To Linda, Mike and Shelley my deepest sympathy with the passing of your father. To Darlene, his sister, I also send you my deepest sympathy, and to Carole, he will always be with you, in your heart and thoughts. We have all grown and gone our separate ways but to you Willie, I thank you for the memories! Willie’s Legacy will go on when you share your memories with his grandchildren. My condolences to all of you. May the Great Spirit above, along with our heavenly father, hold you tightly in His arms and give you comfort. Sincerely, with Love and Friendship, Kay Olson-Martz
