Walter Ignacy Wilczopolski, age 74, of Adams, Wisconsin died Monday, October 28, 2013 at his home following a two year battle with cancer.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 31, 2013 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Friendship, Wisconsin. Father James P. McNamee will officiate. Interment will be at the St. Leo’s Catholic Cemetery, Friendship, Wisconsin.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at Roseberry’s Funeral Home and again on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Walter was born July 29, 1939 in Krasnik, Poland. He grew up in Poland and moved to the United States at age 18 in 1959. Walter lived in Chicago, IL where he worked as a precision welder for Graco in Franklin Park, IL. He married Maria Rzepka on May 17, 1975 in Chicago, Illinois. He retired in 2000, and moved to his present home in Adams, Wisconsin.
Walter enjoyed working on his homes, gardening, reading, and woodworking.
Walter was preceded in death by his parents; son, Mark Wilczopolski; and one brother, Andrew Wilczopolski.

Son: Richard (Karen) Wilczopolski of Antioch, Illinois
Grandchild: Valerie Wilczopolski of Antioch, Illinois
Grandchild: Tracey Wilczopolski of Antioch, Illinois
Grandchild: Charlotte Germain of Jenison, Michigan
Grandchild: Gabriella Germain of Jenison, Michigan
Further survived by nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.

Dorothy, I was so very sorry to hear of your dad’s passing. He was a great father and mentor and raised such a beautiful family. Please know that he no longer suffers and is at peace.
