Robert James Dreis, age 73, of Arkdale, Wisconsin died Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield, Wisconsin.

Memorial services will be 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 30th, 2015 at Hartson Funeral Home, 11111 W. Janesville Road, Hales Corners, WI 53130. Visitation will Thursday, April 30th, from 5:30 p.m. until the time of service.

Bob was born October 03, 1941 in Green Bay, Wisconsin to Vern and Dorothy (Schumacher) Dreis. He graduated from Riverside High School in Milwaukee in 1961. He married Judith Ann Diedrich on September 24, 1976 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Bob worked as a bartender at the Hunter’s Nest in Muskego for 22 years. Following retirement in 2003, Bob and Judy moved to Arkdale, Wisconsin.

Bob enjoyed working in the pit crew for Jack Aschenbrenner’s race car at Hale’s Corner Speedway for over 20 years. He also an avid fan of the Packers, and also enjoyed watching NASCAR, Wisconsin Badgers Football and Basketball and the Brewers.

Memorials may be directed in Robert’s memory to his family.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Vern and Dorothy Dreis; brother, Jay Dreis; sister-in-law, Betty Dreis and cousin, Tim Ditter.

Grandchildren: Brian Jr. Dreis and Isabella Dreis of Cheney, Washington
Step-son: Gregory (Sharon) Martens of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin
Step-son: Randy Martens of Waterford, Wisconsin
Step-grandchildren: Anna (Steven) Ropers of Las Vegas, Nevada
Step-grandchildren: Rachel (Luke) Hackbarth of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin
Step-grandchildren: Andy Martens of Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Step-great-grandchild: Lotus Mei Hackbarth of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin
Further survived by three nieces, other relatives, and friends.
