  29. Barb Beyer says:

Oh God, where do I start? Dee, Deb, Linda and Sue-I knew you best from the family so please know I am with ALL of you in sharing this deep sorrow over losing Bob. As you know, Bob and I had a very deep, loving relationship that, regrettably, ended badly. Fortunately we got over all of that and still had a lot of love and respect for each other. We recently had been talking about getting together to have some laughs, and we had been texting and facebooking. Sadly, we never did get that chance to sit down for those laughs together, but we both knew the bad times were truly behind us, and we held a special place in our hearts for each other. I saw Cher in concert the night Bob passed and from now on, every time I hear her song “I Hope You Find It”, I will think of him. Some of the words: …and I hope you find it, what you’re looking for. I hope it’s everything you’ve dreamed about-and so much more. And I hope you’re happy-wherever you are–I wanted you to know that, and NOTHING’S going to change that, and I hope you find it.” I would change them to say … I KNOW you found it, what you were looking for.” This is exactly what I wish for Bob. I know he was very happy and at peace before he died, and he is now in the glorious arms of the Lord. He was a good-hearted man who always looked after his dearly-loved mother and sisters. If you were friends with Bob, you had a friend for LIFE. I can testify to that personally. God be with you all and if there is ANYTHING at all I can do, please call. I will always and forever have that special place in my heart for Bob. I will never, ever forget him. Love to you all. Barb
