Rex Jay Hill

Rex Jay Hill, age 100, of Rome, Wisconsin died Thursday, April 3, 2014 at the Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin.

Interment will be at the Forest Hill Cemetery in the Garden of Memories, Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin at a later date.

Rex was born March 18, 1914 in Friendship, Wisconsin to John Albert and Effie (Rich) Hill. He was a veteran of WWII, serving the Army. Rex owned and operated National Electric Service in West Milwaukee for many years.
He married Ione D. Searing on February 25, 1974 in Charleston, South Carolina. Following retirement, he moved back to Quincy Township to his land development project. Later, they moved to their current home on Lake Shurwood.

Rex was preceded in death by his parents, John Albert and Effie Hill; son, Roger B. Hill; grandson, Brad Thomas Hill; sister, Dorothy Perry; sister, Alberta Pierron; brother, Curt Hill; and brother, Foster Hill.

Wife: Ione Hill of Town of Rome, Wisconsin
Daughter-in-law: Judith Hill of Wausau, Wisconsin
11 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren
