Opal V. Collins

web-collinsOpal V. Collins, age 86, of Adams, Wisconsin died Thursday, December 04, 2014 at Villa Pines Living Center in Friendship, Wisconsin surrounded by her family and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at 1:00 PM at the Faith Baptist Church in Adams, Wisconsin. Rev. Richard Eberly and Rev. Dwight Condon will be co- officiating. Interment will be in the Easton Cemetery, Town of Easton, Wisconsin. Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 9 at the Faith Baptist Church after 9:00 AM until time of services.
Opal was born May 21, 1928 in White Creek, Mississippi the daughter of John C and Ethel Little. She married Ronald Collins Sr. on August 12, 1957 in Friendship, WI, he preceded her in death on April 28, 1987.
Opal was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Adams. She loved cooking and spending time in her flower garden.

She is survived by two sons: Skip Collins and Ronald Collins Jr., both of Adams, Wisconsin; grandson: Travis (Tammy) Collins; great grandson: Hunter Collins; great granddaughter: Kimber Collins; one sister: Phyllis Little of Grenada, Mississippi and many nieces and nephews in Mississippi and WI.

Opal was preceded in death by: her parents, husband, Ronald Collins Sr; and two sons, Edward Collins and Randy Collins;

    I used to visit with Opal with my great grandma. It has been a while since I have seen her, but I won’t forget her sweet face or how nice she always was to me while her and my great grandma visited.
