Norman F. Amell Sr., age 77, of Mauston, Wisconsin passed away Friday, November 27, 2015 at Agrace HospiceCare Inc. in Fitchburg, Wisconsin.
A family gathering will be at his son Don’s home in Big Flats on Monday, December 7, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
Norman was born February 13, 1938 in Herkimer, New York to William and Genevieve Amell.
He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Norman was preceded in death by his parents, William & Genevieve Amell; son, William F. Amell; brother, William Amell; brother, Larry Amell and Son-in-law, Christopher Becerra.

Son: Donald (Joyce) Amell of Arkdale, Wisconsin
Son: Norman (Joleen) Amell of Adams, Wisconsin
Son: Ronald (Karen) Amell of Necedah, Wisconsin
Daughter: Norma Becerra of Sparta, Wisconsin
Seventeen grandchildren
Nineteen great-grandchildren
Sister: Eleanor James of Herkimer, New York
Brother: Clifford Amell of Herkimer, New York
Sister: Barb Baldwin of Warren,Ohio
Dear Aunt Marcella, You are now at peace and leave many who love you. You were so kind to me as a child and I will always hold those memories very close to my heart. I regret that I was not able to see you later in my life, but I am thankful we were able to visit by phone and through facebook.
