web_Henningsen2Mary Charles Henningsen, age 84, of Brooks, Wisconsin passed away Monday, May 18, 2015 surrounded by her loving family.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:30 a.m. on Friday, May 22, 2015 at the St. Anne Catholic Church in
Brooks, Wisconsin. Father James P. McNamee and Msgr. John Hebl will officiate. Interment will be at the Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Town of New Chester, Adams County, Wisconsin.

Visitation will be Friday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of Mass at St. Anne Catholic Church.

Mary was born June 23, 1930 in Leoti, Kansas to Jack and Marge (McBride) Dean. She married Bernard Henningsen on May 6, 1972 in Westfield, Wisconsin. They resided near Brooks, Wisconsin. Mary drove School Bus for the Adams-Friendship School District for many years.

Mary enjoyed embroidery, gardening, reading, and fishing.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Brother: Richard (Nell-Ann) Dean
Sister: Pat (Stan) Stubbe
Sister: Barbara Rich
Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

    Mary was a good person with a big heart! I remember my mom sending me to summer school when I was in 3rd or 4th grade. Mary was my bus driver, I was the first kid on the bus and last to get off. After my first day Mary visited with my mom when she dropped me off and told her she thought it was too long of a day for me because of the long ride. That was the first and last day I ever went to summer school. Rest in peace.
