Marlene E. LaMarche

Marlene E. LaMarche, age 67, of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin passed away peacefully Thursday, July 30, 2015 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield, Wisconsin surrounded by her loving family.

A Memorial Gathering will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Monday, August 3, 2015 at the Roseberry’s Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin

Marlene was born January 7, 1948 in Friendship, Wisconsin to Berne and Hazel (Roberts) Allen. She grew up in Adams-Friendship, graduating from Adams-Friendship High School in 1966. Marlene married Klaus Kolrep on December 7, 1969 – this marriage was blessed with two children before ending in divorce. She worked as a payroll accountant for Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids.

Marlene enjoyed golfing, camping, traveling up north and to Las Vegas, watching NASCAR races, was an avid Packers and Brewers fan, collecting sock monkeys, keeping in touch with her friends and family on Facebook and spending time with her family and friends.

Marlene was a former member of the Red Hat Society.

Marlene was preceded in death by her parents, Berne and Hazel Allen; brother, Roger Allen; former husband, Klaus Kolrep; and long-time special friend, Charles Wenzel.

Brother: Jack (Brenda) Allen of Friendship, Wisconsin
Sister: Nancy (Charlie) Ganther of Necedah, Wisconsin
Brother: Bill (Cathy) Allen of Friendship, Wisconsin
Grandchild: Alex Kuhn of Port Edwards, Wisconsin
Grandchild: Ally Kuhn of Port Edwards, Wisconsin
Grandchild: Angie Kuhn of Port Edwards, Wisconsin
Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

    Although I didn’t know Marlene outside of work we did spend alot time talking on work breaks together. We were always sharing stories about each others travels to our cottages up north. I truly enjoyed her company and was saddened to hear of her passing. She was a great person and always did an awesome job at work.

    My condolences, to her family. I was in the Red Hat’s with Marlene, she sure enjoyed it. She had a great sense of humor and always made me laugh. I believe, she is at peace now and her and Chuck are sitting at a bar up there having a beer.Like alot of us , she was never the same after Chuck Passed. I am sure she is making up for lost time, with him.
