Margaret E. Hess, age 89, of Adams, Wisconsin died Friday, October 10, 2014 at House of the Dove in Marshfield, Wisconsin.

Memorial services (for her and her husband, Rolland) will be at 3:00 pm on Saturday, November 8th, 2014 at Roseberry’s Funeral Home. Rev. Sherry Hoening will officiate. Interment will be at the Greenwood Cemetery, Bradley, Wisconsin at a later date. (Military Honors for Rolland Hess will be presented by the Adams County Honor Guard.) Friends may call at Roseberry’s on Saturday, November 8th, from 1 p.m. until the time of service.

Margaret was born August 27, 1925 in Pittsburgh, Penn to Walter and Margaret Scott. During WWII, she was a nursing cadet in the Nurses Corp. Margaret married Rolland Hess on August 8, 1945 in Massillon, Ohio. They lived in Tomahawk, Abbotsford, Madison, Colby, Denver, CO; Tripoli, WI; Stevensville, MI; and moved to Adams in 1968. Margaret and Rolland were blessed with 67 years of marriage.

Margaret enjoyed bowling, golfing, playing bridge, and volunteering at the hospital gift shop.

Margaret was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Adams.

Memorials may be directed in Margaret’s memory to her family for dispersal to her favorite charities.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Margaret Scott; and her husband, Rolland (2013).

9 Grandchildren: Jennifer, Michael, Stacy, Shelley, Melissa, Kelsey, Matthew, Connor, Logan
8 Great-Grandchildren: Damian, Dane, Dylan, Brandon, Kylee, Brandon, Haley, Addy
Brother: Richard (Martha) Scott of Massillon, Ohio
Sister: Barbara Sanford of St. Louis, MO
Sister: Carolyn Weizenicker of Bradley, WI
Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

    I send condolences to the families of Peg and Rollie. I met them when I began my 1st job out of high school in 1969. They were such an amazing couple and had such a nice family. It made my transition into the work environment much easier. It is so hard to lose your parents/grandparents, but they had a wonderful long life and are together again. My thoughts are with you all.
