Marcella E. Kotlowski
Marcella E. Kotlowski, age 77, of Grand Marsh, Wisconsin died Thursday, November 27th, 2014 at Mile bluff Medical Center in Mauston, Wisconsin.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Friendship, Wisconsin. Father James P McNamee will officiate. Visitation will be after 9:00 AM on Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church until the time of Mass.
Marcella was born October 28th, 1937 in Owen – Withee, Wisconsin to Joseph and Rose (Witek) Malinowski. She married Jerry W Kotlowski on July 9th, 1957 in Owen.
Marcella was a clerical worker in her younger and later years, between then she was the owner/operator of the Sportsman Bar in Grand Marsh with her husband.
Marcella was very active in the Grand Marsh community, she enjoyed watching Packer games, cooking, crocheting, gardening, spending time with her grandchildren, and riding around on her golf cart.
Marcella was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Grand Marsh Area Development Corp.
Marcella (Marcie) was a loving, wonderful, and inspirational wife, mother, grandmother and friend to so many. She will truly be missed.
She is survived by her husband Jerry Kotlowski of Grand Marsh, Wisconsin; her sons Jerome (Dori) Kotlowski, Allen (Sherry) Kotlowski, Charles Kotlowski and Patrick (Janet) Kotlowski, all of Grand Marsh, Wisconsin; her grandchildren Joseph Kotlowski, Stephen Kotlowski, Scott (Melissah) Kotlowski, Kyle Kotlowski, Nathaniel Kotlowski, Megan (Fiance-Marc) Kotlowski, Taylor Farrell, Teagan Kotlowski, and Tristan Kotlowski; one great grandson Haden Kotlowski; her sisters Francis Bak of Chicago, Illinois, Stella Halida of Lublin, Wisconsin, Mary Ann (Jerry) Wnek of Thorp, Wisconsin, Josephine (Wally) Czuba of Moline, Illinois, and Pat Albert of Florida.
Marcella was preceded in death by her parents, brother-in-laws Stanley Halida, Walter Bak, Jim Albert, Donald Kotlowski, Kenneth Kotlowski, and her mother and father- in- law Walter and Phyllis Kotlowski.

To Jerry and the entire Kotlowski family, Kathy and my heartfelt prayers and thoughts are with you at this difficult time. We will always cherish the fond memories we have of Marcie whether she was collecting money at the door at the communty center, announcing the winners at Corn N Tater or your 50th wedding anniversary celebration. You can be sure that she is going to “save a place” for each of you when it becomes your time to join her.

I am so sorry that Marcie has left you Jerry and your Son’s , Jerome and Dori, Allen and Sherry, Charles, Patrick and Janet and all the family. She always was there for each and every one of us, we know she is in Heaven where there is no pain, suffering, only Love, and that is what my Dear Sister deserves. I will see you all in July.

Our thoughts are with you. Marcie will always be remembered for all the good things she did. Lots of good memories throughout the years with her raising you 4 boys, operating the bar, working at Development functions, etc. She was a heckuva person.

Nate, Chuck, Jerry and the rest of the family…we are so sorry for your loss…every time I saw Marcie out and about, she had a smile on her face and would always say hi or stop and talk if she wasn’t busy….I could always call her if our family needed keys or had questions about the hall…she will be greatly missed…

I was so sorry to hear of Marcie’s passing. We had many good times together, Corn’N Tater, Polka Festivals, and many other activities held at the community, and when I was young, being neighbors. We will truly miss her. She was a great person, caring, kind and always willing to help in anyway she could. Maybe she will check in with Joe and Donna and Mary and George!!!
