When I went back to work I was lucky to be working with Lisa. We had the best times. She made work fun, we played word games to make the day pass. The laughing and teasing all of us would do 🙂 she would talk of her dreams 🙂 missed her when she went on to follow them. Something would happen at work and I would smile knowing what her comment would be. When I heard of her leaving us, it hurt inside. My thoughts and prayers to her family and loved ones. She will always be watching over you, smiling that special beautiful smile of hers. Rest in peace Lisa xoxo

  11. Aunt Barb says:

Lisa was smart, funny and witty. I don’t even think Lisa knew how great she was but I hope she knew how much we loved her. The moment she came into our lives we knew she was someone special. Each of us shared something different and special with Lisa. She loved her sister Deb, Brittany and Kyle so very much and would spend hours bragging about them to me. Her parents must have been very special to have raised a daughter like Lisa. Family meant so much to her!
Lisa invited people over to play board games and she made them more fun than going to a casino. She liked scary movies and science fiction. She was always reading and I bet her IQ was in the genius range. She loved children with all her heart and they loved her back with all of their hearts. The day we lost her is the day the world stood still. Like a beautiful falling star she came into our lives and left just as swiftly. Lisa gave each of us something very special that will live on forever. Even though we are not blood she will always be my niece and I will never ever forget her as long as I live. I send my condolences to Deb, Brittany, Kyle and all of Lisa’s other family members. You will always be in our thoughts and prayers.

  17. Brenda Piantino says:

    Dear Deb, Brittany, and Kyle,

We are all so heartbroken losing Lisa. She was an important part of our family in so many ways. The children especially loved her to pieces. She always had a hug or a piece of gum for the kids. I can’t count how many times she was sitting contentedly with a baby or toddler sleeping on her lap.
Lisa and I went rummaging together. We went to a special Woman’s only weekend in Oshkosh a couple years ago and had lots of fun. I’d make her favorite candy at Christmas and she was always so excited to get it. She was a wonderful listener and would listen to me rant and rave when something upset me.
On Tuesday of last week she was so happy and content watching my granddaughter Alyssa. They went for walks outside and Lisa would sit and blow bubbles for Alyssa. Her brown eyes were shining with happiness. I will always hold that image of her close to my heart.
I just wanted to let you know that her last days were so happy in hopes that you will find some solace in that. Most of us will be coming up for her funeral. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
