June Ardith Gulrud, age 78, of Adams, Wisconsin died Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at her home.
Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at the Roseberry’s Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin. Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. to the time of service on Saturday at Roseberry’s Funeral Home.
June was born August 14, 1935 in Quincy Township, Adams County, Wisconsin to William and Mildred (Hayes) Reichhoff. She married the love of her life, Herbert Gulrud Jr. on July 4, 1953 in Adams, Wisconsin. They lived in Fairbanks, Alaska where three of their five children were born, before moving back to Adams where they farmed and operated a masonry construction business. She also served as a caretaker for her brother-in-law for many years. June worked for Castle Rock Container Corporation for a few years before retiring.
June enjoyed gardening, lawn mowing, hunting, farming, baking, reading, watching old westerns, and playing with her beloved dog, Bella. She also enjoyed oil painting for which she won several awards for her talents. But mostly, she enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
June was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mildred Reichhoff; husband, Herbert Gulrud Jr.; son, David K. Gulrud; infant son, Robert G. Gulrud; granddaughter, Jennifer L. Herrell; several aunts, uncles, brothers and sisters-in-law.

Sister: Blanche Smith of Friendship, Wisconsin
Sister: Shirley (Bob) Kunkel of Janesville, Wisconsin
Sister: Rose (Victor) Baumel of Adams, Wisconsin
Sister: Jane (John) Boer of Arkdale, Wisconsin
Many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
