John L. Chase, age 72, of Arkdale, Wisconsin passed away Monday, March 2, 2015 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield, Wisconsin.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Roseberry’s Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin. Pastor Phillip Enderle will officiate. Interment will be at the Wood Cemetery, Town of Byron, Monroe County, Wisconsin. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday at Roseberry’s Funeral Home.
John was born October 18, 1942 in the town of Byron, Monroe County, Wisconsin to John and Irene Chase.
He married Darlene L. Sly on January 18, 1969 in Racine, Wisconsin.
John enjoyed fishing, hunting and especially spending time with family.
John was preceded in death by his parents, John & Irene Chase.

Son: Ray (Michelle) Chase of Friendship, Wisconsin
Grandchildren: T.J. (Amanda) Elliott, Ashley Elliott, Victoria Shaw, Elizabeth Elliott, Andrew Hetchler, Emily Paulson, Celina Kurth, Katelyn Chase, Alicia Purling, and Julie Chase
Great-Grandchildren: John Elliott, David Elliott, and Connor Elliott

I was so saddened by the news that Papa John had passed away I was so blessed to have known this wonderful man and considered him my 2nd dad, no words can be said or expressed how hard it will be not seeing him working hard outside, or sitting out in his truck or just doing everyday things we all take for granted, God Bless you all as you get through this difficult time.
