Helen Schilling
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 09, 2014 at the Roseberry’s Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin. Interment will be at the Quincy Cemetery, Town of Quincy, Adams County, Wisconsin.
Visitation will be 12 Noon until the time of service on Tuesday at Roseberry’s Funeral Home.
Helen was born February 20, 1921 in Quincy Township, Wisconsin to Henry and Valasta (Cerny) Heitman.
She married Ervin Schilling on October 29, 1949 in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin. They lived in Milwaukee and after retirement returned to Adams County.
Helen enjoyed growing African Violets and caring for her dogs: Sam, Lady, and Cissy; and her cat Miss Kitty.
Helen was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary #273 and the White Creek Congregational Church.
Memorials may be directed in Helen’s memory to the White Creek Congregational Church and the Adams County Humane Society.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Ervin Schilling.
Survivors include her brother-in-law, Kenneth (Joyce) Schilling of Friendship, Wisconsin; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
