So sorry for your loss, as he will be greatly missed by many. He was a very proud veteran, being a member of the American Legion for so many years. He was so greatful for having his health & mind to enjoy his life to the fullest up until the end. He was proud of his accomplishments including winning the Grandma & Grandpa Tournament at Moundview a couple years ago. I was blessed to be a part of his life, playing cribbage, bowling & my golf partner (Team B – S). He was loved by many in this community. Rest in peace my friend – miss you – thank-you for the memories.
I can not remember when our community was without Stub, he was involved with everything, always had time to speak with everyone, and always left you feeling better as you went on your way. I’m sure God has a wonderful place for him, organizing a bowing league, golfing, or just a gentleman game of cribbage or poker. Our community will surely miss him as will your family, but I’m sure he will not be forgotten. God Bless.
