Gordon L. Miller

pic_Miller_webGordon L. Miller, age 72, of Adams, Wisconsin passed away Sunday, August 17, 2014 at Villa Pines Living Center in Friendship, Wisconsin.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 21, 2014 at Roseberry’s Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin.  Pastor Richard Church will officiate.  Interment will be at the Pine Grove Cemetery, Lincoln Township, Adams County, Wisconsin.  Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Thursday at Roseberry’s Funeral Home.  Military honors will be presented by the Adams County Honor Guard.

Gordon was born May 21, 1942 in Portage, Wisconsin to Clarence and Pearl Miller.  Following high school he enlisted in the United States Army National Guard.   He married Katherine Elaine Carrington and they had one son, Michael. She preceded Gordon in death in the early 80’s at which time Gordon and Michael moved back to Wisconsin from Illinois.

He married Patricia Quinnell on September 17, 1985 in Grand Marsh, Wisconsin.

Gordon enjoyed farming, trucking, hunting, fishing, conversing, country music, watching cattle auctions on television, and going for rides looking at farm machinery.

He was a member of the Lions Club and the Central Wisconsin Music Association.

Gordon was preceded in death by his first wife, Katherine Elaine Miller; grandparents, parents, Clarence & Pearl Miller; mother-in-law, Lydia Quinnell and brother-in-law, William Quinnell.
