  10. Rhonda Whetstone says:

For me, Frank Wilson’s passing signifies the last of the ties I had to my own father. My dad and Frank were good friends for decades and through that friendship, I gained friendship with people that will always have my heart, especially you Shelia. I am so happy I stayed in touch with Frank through the years, listening to his tales both current and past. It was his stories of the past that kept my dad alive for me and reminded me always of my childhood and the good lives and good times we all had back then. I was always happy when Frank thought to stop and visit me, which he did often through the years, and very pleased I have his voice recorded, telling some of those old, old stories. I am glad I was able to visit him one last time, even if in the hospital, and able to tell him goodbye. The last thing I said to him was “I love you Frank.” I saw so much in his eyes that day–they spoke volumes without him saying a word. I will miss Frank. He was a special man. Love and prayers to the whole family. ~Rhonda
