Eugene Felix Klosowski

Eugene Felix Klosowski, age 92, of Necedah, Wisconsin died Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at Villa Pines Living Center in Friendship, Wisconsin.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 4, 2015 at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Necedah, Wisconsin. Father Joseph Redfern will officiate. Interment will be at the Saint Francis of Assisi Cemetery, Necedah, Wisconsin. Military Honors will presented graveside by the Necedah VFW Honor Guard.

Visitation will be Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.

Eugene was born May 15, 1922 in Chicago, Illinois to William and Anastasia Klosowski. He was a veteran of WWII, serving in the Army Air Corp. Eugene worked as a salesman in Chicago and Necedah. He married twice in his life, both his first wife, Laverne, whom he married in 1951, and his second wife, Anna “Donna” Danielson whom he married in 1962, preceded him in death. Eugene was also a professional dancer, an Arthur Murray instructor, and performed on local television and cruise ships.

Eugene was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.

Eugene was preceded in death by his parents, William and Anastasia Klosowski; wife, Laverne (1960);
wife, Anna “Donna” (2012); step-son, Ronald Danielson; step-daughter, Janet Brown; brothers: William, Chester, Tony, and Albert; and sisters: Lillian, Eleanor, Florence, and Dorothy.

Eugene is survived by his step-son, William A. (Linda) Priebe of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin; two grandchildren: Sarah (John) Roy and William (Lindsay) Priebe; and 11 Great-Grandchildren. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may directed in Eugene’s memory to St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.

    So sorry to read about your father’s passing. I knew both Gene and Anna for many years. They were very sweet people. My parents are buried right near your father’s plot. Bill and Helen Zimmer were my parents, I remember when they died your Dad said they would be neighbors one day.
