I remember my Aunt Esther from Kroll’s east in GB. She was a hard worker and made sure we all did our jobs well!! My Mom and Dad would always take 1 weekend vacation from the farm for a visit to the Lodge. We cannot make it to the funeral, but know our thoughts and prayers are with you. Jill, can you please send me your contact info?

  2. Audrey & Joe Leisgang says:

    Dear Uncle Jerry & Family,
We extend our deepest sympathy to you. We are very sorry we will not be attending the
funeral on Tuesday as we have the funeral of Uncle Donald Weyenberg (Mom’s youngest
brother) at the very same time. Arlene, Mary Claire, Joe & I were planning to be at Esther’s
funeral, until things got very complicated with both funerals at the same time.
    God bless,

  6. Gary and Patricia Brosig says:

It was a sad moment, when we heard that you’ve lost your dear Mom . It’s never easy to lose a parent, and especially one as spunky and full of life as Esther. We’ll keep many, many great memories of Esther in our minds and hearts. Memories that go all the way back to High School, and right up to our visits to Holiday Lodge with our family. Esther was always ready to welcome us with a friendly hug.
She was loved by oh so many people and you can be sure she will be welcomed at those Golden Gates with opened , and loving arms. Now she gets the Greatest “HUG” of all. What a Lady ! Please know, that you will ALL be in our thoughts and prayers. Rest easy in the knowledge that she is at peace, and is resting happily (after so many, many, years of being such a busy, little bee) . She’ll be waiting patiently, and smiling …….knowing that there will be a day, when you’ll all be together again. Stay strong, and take care of yourselves for her ! Gary and Pat Brosig
