Denver C. Burton, age 85, of Grand Marsh, Wisconsin died Sunday, December 07, 2014 at Strawberry Lane Medical & Rehabilitation Center in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at the Roseberry’s Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin. Pastor Terry Temanson will officiate. Interment will be at the Gould Rock Cemetery, Town of New Chester, Wisconsin. Visitation will be 12 Noon until the time of service on Thursday at Roseberry’s Funeral Home.

Denver was born March 14, 1929 in Nancy, Kentucky. He married Irma I Smith on March 05, 1948 in Clinton, Illinois. Denver served in the Army and was a veteran of the Korean War. After his discharge, they moved to Milwaukee and later Brookfield, Wisconsin. Denver worked as a carpenter for his entire life. He and Irma built their dream home in Grand Marsh where they enjoyed their retirement.

Denver enjoyed gardening, farming, and hunting.

Denver was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Irma I. Burton.

Grandson: Mark Burton of Seattle, Washington
Granddaughter: Claire Burton of Seattle, Washington
Grandson: Brian Rutherford of Manitowoc, Wisconsin
Granddaughter: Stacy Rutherford of Manitowoc, Wisconsin
Great-grandson: Kaleb Rutherford
