Carl Smith Jones Sr., age 79, of Arkdale, Wisconsin died Monday, January 12, 2015 at the Tomah VA Medical Center.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 19, 2015 at Roseberry’s Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 2:00p.m. with Rev. John K. Stake officiating. Military honors will be presented by the Adams County Honor Guard.
Carl was born October 4, 1935 in Chicago, Illinois to Oliver and Catherine Jones.
He graduated from Morton East High School in Cicero, Illinois.
Carl enlisted in the United States Navy in June of 1954 and was honorably discharged in June of 1958.
He married Mary Lou Borelli on September 24, 1955 in Cicero, Illinois.
Carl enjoyed fishing, hunting, and especially gardening.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oliver & Catherine Jones and sister-in-law, Susan Jones.

Grandson: William Davis of Fort Wayne, Indiana
Granddaughter: Megan Jones of Albuquerque, New Mexico
Grandson: Timothy Jones of Ruidiso, New Mexico
Brother: Michael Jones of Joliet, Illinois
Sister: Barbara Jones of Seattle, Washington
