Betty Frost

Betty J. Frost of Plover passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 17, 2015 at the age of 56.

Betty was born January 10th, 1959 in Bad Axe, MI to Raymond and Bertha Messing. She attended Harbor Beach Community High School, graduating in the class of 1977. Betty was a devoted mother to her two children, Randy and Jim and had lived in various states including Michigan, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Virginia and New York before finally settling in Wisconsin. In addition to being a stay at home mother and in-home daycare provider for many years, Betty worked at McDonalds in Plover and has most recently been employed at Lowes. She enjoyed cheering on her Michigan sports teams, playing cards and bingo, completing word finds and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Betty is survived by her loving children Randy (Lynn) Frost of Plover, and Jim (Sara) Frost and two grandchildren (Sawyer and Rohan Frost) of Stevens Point and 10 siblings John (Peggy) Messing of Harbor Beach, MI, Judy (Angus) Booms of Harbor Beach, MI, Donna (Leo) Emming of Ruth, MI, Florence (Richard) Wolschleger of Ruth, MI, Bernard (Pauline) Messing of Minden City, MI, Marie Gay of North Prince George, Virginia, Darlene (Florenzio) Ornelas of Beaverton, MI, George (Linda) Messing of Fresno, California, Ivan (Lori) Messing of Minden City, MI, Alvin Messing of Ruth, MI and many nieces and nephews. Betty is preceded in death by her parents.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, April 26, 2015 with burial services to follow in Michigan. A memorial fund has been established through Roseberry’s Funeral Home & Crematory, PO Box 620, Friendship, WI 53934.

    I enjoyed working with Betty at McDonald’s for several years and then seeing her at Lowe’s. She was always so proud of her boys and their rodeo accomplishments. She spoke lovingly of her grandchildren. I pray that she has now found peace in the arms of Jesus.
