Morin262Bernice Morin, age 90, of Friendship, Wisconsin passed away Monday, September 28, 2015 at her home.

Memorial Mass will be celebrated 11:30 a.m. on Friday, October 2nd, 2015 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 19515 115th Ave, Mokena, IL 60448. Father Dindo will officiate. Interment will be private.

Bernice was born March 15, 1925 in Chicago, Illinois to Casimir and Monica (Petritis) Matulauskis. She graduated from S.S. Peter and Paul Grammar School and Fenger High School. Bernice married Robert Edward Morin on May 17, 1947 in Chicago, Illinois. She and Robert were blessed with two daughters. They moved to Friendship, Wisconsin in 1980 following Robert’s retirement from the Chicago Fire Department.

Bernice enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Bernice was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

In lieu of flowers, Mass Cards or donations to Hospice Touch, 321 Butts Ave., Tomah, WI 54660 would be appreciated.

Bernice was preceded in death by her parents, Casimir and Monica Matulauskis; four brothers and one sister.

Grandchild: Jennifer (Keith) Andrews of New Lenox, Illinois
Grandchild: Sara Baker of Woodridge, Illinois
Grandchild: Erin (Keith) Lindemann of Romeoville, Illinois
Great-Grandchildren: Logan, Emily, Tyler, and Lilly

    Bob, I was so sorry to read that Bernice has passed away. I always enjoyed coming “across the street” to visit when I was up at Dad’s (Bob Anderson) place. You both always welcomed me with a hug! May your memories from a long and happy life comfort you in this sad time.
