Barbara Jeanne Mecklenburg of Friendship, WI passed away at her home Tuesday, July 17, 2007 surrounded by her family.
She was born February 23, 1940 in Milwaukee, WI to Harold L. and Catherine C. (Stock) Cook. Barbara enjoyed an active life including many hobbies, including crocheting, painting, sewing, NASCAR racing as a Jeff Gordon fan and Johnny Depp films. She had achieved her black belt in Tae Kwon Do, and participated in Hula dancing.
A loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Barbara is survived by her husband Richard R. Mecklenburg, her children Pamela L. (Gary) Gorlen, Valerie J. Holland, Amy C. (Darin) Baggs, Carol L (Dan Uniewski) Mecklenburg, Michael R. (Melissa) Mecklenburg, 19.5 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, a nephew John Cook, and her brother Ronald L. Cook.
