Alvin L. St. Onge, age 80, of Friendship, Wisconsin passed away Sunday, July 19, 2015 at Villa Pines Living Center in Friendship.
Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at the Roseberry’s Funeral Home in Friendship. Father James P. McNamee will officiate. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday at Roseberry’s Funeral Home.
Alvin was born February 8, 1935 in Marquette, Michigan to Russell and Edna St. Onge.
He graduated from Graverat High School in Michigan.
Alvin enlisted in the United States Army in 1957 and was honorably discharged in 1960.
He married Jacqueline King on June 18, 1960 in Marquette, Michigan. Together they had three daughters; Crystal, Patricia, and Barbara.
Alvin was employed as a superintendent for Genz Construction out of Milwaukee for over 20 years.
Following his retirement he and Jacque moved to Friendship.
Alvin enjoyed traveling around the country on his motorcycle with Jacque and his good friends.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Alvin was preceded in death by his parents, Russell & Edna St. Onge; brothers, Russell (Arle) St. Onge; Eugene St. Onge; Donald St. Onge; Wallace St. Onge and Arnold St. Onge; sister, Pauline (Albert) Koepp; Brothers-in-law, James Kramer; Albert DeVoe and Lloyd Croschere Sr.; Father-in-law, Alfred King and Mother-in-law, Myrtle (Mike) Michelson.

Aunt Jackie, I am so sorry. He was my favorite uncle and the best looking one too. I love you and wish we could be there but I just got back to work on July 1st from having my knee replaced. Work is busy and won’t let me go. I will always remember him and his beautiful smile and laughter. Love to all of you

Al was one of a few people I have known that had the gift of making you feel part of the family 5 minutes after you met him. He will be missed but will live in the hearts of the people who knew him.

I loved hanging out with you guys in the basement in your house in Milwaukee and remember when you came to Atlanta to visit us.
