Adele Mary Mireau, age 89, of Friendship, Wisconsin died Sunday, April 13, 2014 at Villa Pines Living Center in Friendship, Wisconsin.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Friendship, Wisconsin with Father James P. McNamee officiating. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Interment will be 12 Noon on Thursday, April 17, 2014 at the Mount Olivet Cemetery, Key West, Iowa.

Adele was born July 29, 1924 in Dubuque, Iowa to Aloysius and Gertrude (Majeuis) Krayer. She married Maynard E. Mireau on February 28, 1958 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. They owned and operated several taverns in Milwaukee for many years. Following retirement, Adele and Maynard moved to Friendship, Wisconsin.

Adele enjoyed working at her taverns, wintering in Arizona, spending time with her family.
Adele was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.

Adele was preceded in death by her parents, Aloysius and Gertrude Krayer ; son, Raymond Bahl; brothers, Bud, Clem, and Earl Krayer; and first husband, Raymond Bahl.

Nephew: Rick Revenig of Dubuque, Iowa
Grand Niece: Diane Starla of Harper, Iowa
Step-son: Michael (Suzanne) Mireau of Okauchee, Wisconsin
Step-daughter: Michele Mireau of Okauchee, Wisconsin
Step-son: Mark (Penny) Mireau of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin
