Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at the Roseberry's Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin. Pastor Sam Downey will officiate. Cremation will follow the traditional service. Friends may call at Roseberry’s on Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service. Military rites will be offered at the funeral home by the Adams VFW Post #6279; the Adams American Legion Red Cloud Post #250; and the Grand Marsh American Legion Snyder-Richardson Post #273; and the Castle Rock Chapter of the Vietnam Veteran of America.

Dennis was born September 12, 1947 in Chicago, Illinois. He married Gail Cooper on May 21, 1966 in Elizabeth Town, IL. Dennis was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the Army. Following the war, he and Gail made their home in Chicago, IL. The family moved to Wisconsin in the 1980’s. Dennis worked as a carpenter.

Dennis was a very devoted and caring family man. He adored his wife, daughters, and grandchildren. They were his pride and joy and he loved spending time with them.

Dennis enjoyed woodworking, playing pool, photography, and attending his grandchildren’s sporting events.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.

Dennis was preceded in death by his mother, Victoria Marienthal.
